لَا جَرَمَ أَنَّمَا تَدْعُونَنِىٓ إِلَيْهِ لَيْسَ لَهُۥ دَعْوَةٌ فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا وَلَا فِى ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ وَأَنَّ مَرَدَّنَآ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ وَأَنَّ ٱلْمُسْرِفِينَ هُمْ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

‘Surely that to which you call me has no title to be called upon in this world or in the Hereafter; and that our return is certainly to Allah and that the transgressors will be the inmates of the Fire.

English - Five Volume Translation

Surely, that to which you call me has no title to be called upon in this world or in the Hereafter; and that our return is certainly to Allah and that the transgressors will be the inmates of the Fire.

English - Short Commentary Translation

‘Surely, that to which you call me has no title[2608A] to be called upon in this world or in the Hereafter; and that our return is certainly to Allah and that the transgressors will be the inmates of the Fire;

Is not fit to be called upon; ought not to be called upon; has no title or claim to be called upon.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اس میں کوئی شک نہیں کہ جس کی طرف تم مجھے بلاتے ہو اُسے پکارنے کا کوئی جواز نہ دنیا میں ہے اور نہ آخرت میں اور یقیناً ہمارا لوٹ کر جانا تو اللہ کی طرف ہے اور یقیناً حد سے بڑھنے والے ہی ہیں جو آگ والے ہوں گے۔

French

Assurément ce à quoi vous m’appelez n’a aucun droit à être invoqué dans ce monde ni dans l’au-delà, et notre retour est certainement vers Allāh, et les transgresseurs seront les habitants du Feu.

German

Kein Zweifel, das, wozu ihr mich ruft, hat keinen Anspruch in dieser Welt oder im Jenseits; und unsere Heimkehr ist zu Allah, und die Übertreter werden Bewohner des Feuers sein.

“毫无疑义地, 你们召我朝向今世和后世都无权受呼唤的对象。我们的归宿确是安拉。违背者将是火狱的同伴;

Italian

Certamente, ciò a cui mi invitate non ha diritto di essere invocato, né in questo mondo né nell'Aldilà; e noi torneremo senza dubbio ad Allah, e i prevaricatori saranno gli abitanti del fuoco.

“En verdad que aquello a lo que me llamáis no tiene título para ser invocado en este mundo o en el Más Allá; y que nuestro retorno será ciertamente a Al-lah y que los transgresores serán los moradores del Fuego.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اس میں کوئی شبہ نہیں کہ تم مجھے اس ہستی کی طرف بلاتے ہو جس کی کوئی (مؤثر) آواز نہ اس دنیا میں ہے نہ اگلے جہان میں۔ اور (حقیقت یہ ہے کہ) ہم سب کو اللہ ہی کی طرف لوٹ کر جانا ہے اور یہ کہ حد سے گذرنے والے لوگ دوزخی ہیں۔

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

نہیں، حق یہ ہے اور اِس کے خلاف نہیں ہو سکتا کہ جن کی طرف تم مجھے بلا رہے ہو اُن کے لیے نہ دنیا میں کوئی دعوت ہے نہ آخرت میں، اور ہم سب کو پلٹنا اللہ ہی کی طرف ہے، اور حد سے گزرنے والے آگ میں جانے والے ہیں

English - Sahih

Assuredly, that to which you invite me has no [response to a] supplication in this world or in the Hereafter; and indeed, our return is to Allah, and indeed, the transgressors will be companions of the Fire.

اردو ترجمہ احمد علی

بے شک تم مجھے جس کی طرف بلاتے ہو وہ نہ دنیا میں بلانے کے قابل ہے اور نہ آخرت میں اور بےشک ہمیں الله کی طرف لوٹ کر جانا ہے اور بے شک حد سے بڑھنے والے ہی دوزخی ہیں

No doubt that what you call me to it not for it a claim in the world and not in the Hereafter; and that our return (is) to Allah, and that the transgressors - they (will be the) companions (of) the Fire.

English - Arberry

No doubt that what you call me to has no call heard, in this world or in the world to come, that to God we return, and that the prodigal are the inhabitants of the Fire.

English - Maududi

There is no doubt that those whom you call me to have no claim to be called upon in this world and in the Hereafter. Certainly to Allah shall be our return, and those who exceed the limits are destined to the Fire.

What you are calling me to is surely not worth the calling in this world or in the next, because our returning is to God; and because the transgressors will be inmates of Hell.
