Whereas Allah has created you and also your handiwork?’
Commentary:
The verse may have one or all the three following interpretations: (1) God has created you and your handiwork, i.e. the idols of stone which you carve out with your own hands. (2) God is your Creator and the Creator of all that you do, i.e. He has created the means and the instruments by which you do your works. (3) God is your Creator but how foolish you are to worship what you make with your own hands.

Your hands and feet with which you work.

حالانکہ اللہ نے تمہیں پیدا کیا ہے اور اسے بھی جو تم بناتے ہو۔

“Cuando Al‑lah os creó a vosotros y a lo que talláis?”.
اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
حالانکہ اللہ نے ہی تم کو بھی پیدا کیا ہے اور تمہارے عمل کو بھی۔
یہ معنے نہیں کہ انسان کے سب عمل جبری ہیں بلکہ مراد یہ ہے کہ وہ ہاتھ پاؤں جن سے تم عمل کرتے ہو خداتعالیٰ کے ہی پیدا کردہ ہیں ورنہ قرآن کریم میں متواتر بیان ہوا ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ اگر جبر کرتا تو سب دنیا کو ہدایت دیتا۔ بدی کے لئے وہ کبھی جبر نہیں کرتا۔ اور چونکہ نیکی جبر سے کروانی بھی بے فائدہ ہے نیکی کے لئے بھی وہ جبر نہیں کرتا۔
