ٱسْلُكْ يَدَكَ فِى جَيْبِكَ تَخْرُجْ بَيْضَآءَ مِنْ غَيْرِ سُوٓءٍ وَٱضْمُمْ إِلَيْكَ جَنَاحَكَ مِنَ ٱلرَّهْبِ ۖ فَذَٰنِكَ بُرْهَٰنَانِ مِن رَّبِّكَ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَإِي۟هِۦٓ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَوْمًا فَٰسِقِينَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

‘Insert thy hand into thy bosom; it will come forth white without evil effect, and draw back thy arm toward thyself to be free from fear. So these shall be two proofs from thy Lord to Pharaoh and his chiefs. Surely they are a rebellious people.’

[c]Insert thy hand into thy bosom; it will come forth white without evil effect, and draw back thy arm toward thyself in order to be free from fear. So these shall be two proofs from thy Lord to Pharaoh and his chiefs. Surely, they are a rebellious people.’[2898]

Important Words:

ذانک (those two) is the dual of ذاک which is formed from ذا which is a noun of indication (properly meaning this, but sometimes, when repeated, better rendered that), relating to an object of masc. gender, such as is near: or it relates to what is distant (according to some, and therefore should always be rendered that). ذاک relates to an object which is distant or to that which occupies a middle place between the near and the distant. They say جاءنی ذانک الرجلان i.e. those two persons came to me (Lane & Aqrab).

[a]‘Insert thy hand into thy bosom; it will come forth white without evil effect, and draw back thy arm toward thyself in order to still thy fear. So these shall be two proofs from thy Lord to Pharaoh and his chiefs. Surely, they are a rebellious people.’

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اپنا ہاتھ اپنے گریبان میں ڈال وہ بغیر کسی عیب کے چمکتا ہوا نکلے گا۔ پھر اپنے بازو کو خوف سے (بچنے کےلئے) اپنے ساتھ چمٹالے۔ پس تیرے ربّ کی طرف سے یہ دو براہین فرعون اور اس کے سرداروں کی طرف (بھیجی جا رہی) ہیں۔ یقیناً وہ بدکردار لوگ ہیں۔

French

Insère ta main dans l’ouverture de ta tunique ; elle en ressortira blanche sans être atteinte d'aucun mal, et ramène ton bras vers toi pour te débarrasser de la peur. Alors ce seront là deux preuves de la part de ton Seigneur pour Pharaon et ses chefs. Assurément, ils sont un peuple rebelle. »

German

Stecke deine Hand in deinen Busen; sie wird weiß hervorkommen ohne Übel, und ziehe deinen Arm ohne Furcht an dich. Das sollen nun zwei Beweise von deinem Herrn für Pharao und seine Häupter sein, denn sie sind ein frevelndes Volk."

[c]“把你的手插入你胸襟 (的衣服) 中, 抽出时, 它将洁白无暇。(为了解脱你的) 恐惧, 你把你的手缩回去吧! 这是你的养主降给法老和他的臣属的两项明证, 因为他们是不服从的民族。”

Italian

Introduci la tua mano sul petto; ne uscirà bianca, senza macchia, e ritira il tuo braccio verso di te per calmare il tuo timore. Queste saranno due prove da parte del tuo Signore, per il Faraone e i suoi capi. Di certo, loro sono un popolo ribelle.»

Spanish

“Mete tu mano en tu manto, cerca del pecho; saldrá blanca in ningún efecto maligno, y vuelve tu brazo hacia ti mismo para que estés libre del temor. Éstas serán dos pruebas de tu Señor ante el Faraón y sus jefes. En verdad son un pueblo rebelde”.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

(اور) اپنے ہاتھ کو اپنے گریبان میں ڈال‘ وہ بغیر کسی بیماری کے سفید نکلے گا اور اپنے بازو کو خوف کی وجہ سے (زور سے) کھینچ کر (اپنے جسم سے) ملالے یہ دو دلیلیں (علاوہ دوسری دلیلوں کے) ہیں جو فرعون اور اس کے درباریوں کی طرف تیرے رب کی طرف سے بھیجی گئی ہیں کیونکہ وہ اطاعت سے نکلنے والے لوگ ہیں۔

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

اپنا ہاتھ گریبان میں ڈال، چمکتا ہوا نکلے گا بغیر کسی تکلیف کے اور خوف سے بچنے کے لیے اپنا بازو بھینچ لے یہ دو روشن نشانیاں ہیں تیرے رب کی طرف سے فرعون اور اس کے درباریوں کے سامنے پیش کرنے کے لیے، وہ بڑے ہی نافرمان لوگ ہیں"

English - Sahih

Insert your hand into the opening of your garment; it will come out white, without disease. And draw in your arm close to you [as prevention] from fear, for those are two proofs from your Lord to Pharaoh and his establishment. Indeed, they have been a people defiantly disobedient."

اردو ترجمہ احمد علی

اپنے گریبان میں اپنا ہاتھ ڈال وہ بغیر کسی عیب کے چمکتا ہوا نکلے گا اور رفع خوف کے لیے اپنا بازو اپنی طرف ملا سو تیرے رب کی طرف سے فرعون اور اس کے سرداروں کے لیے یہ دو سندیں ہیں بے شک وہ نافرمان لوگ ہیں

Insert your hand in your bosom it will come forth white without any harm. And draw to yourselves your hand against fear. So these (are) two evidences from your Lord, to Firaun and his chiefs. Indeed, they are a people defiantly disobedient."

Insert thy hand into thy bosom, and it will come forth white without evil; and press to thee thy arm, that thou be not afraid. So these shall be two proofs from thy Lord to Pharaoh and his Council; for surely they are an ungodly people.'

Put your hand into your bosom, and it will come out shining without any blemish; and draw your hand close to your body to still your fear. Those are the two clear Signs from your Lord for Pharaoh and his chiefs, for truly they are a disobedient people."
