قَالَ إِن سَأَلْتُكَ عَن شَىْءٍۭ بَعْدَهَا فَلَا تُصَٰحِبْنِى ۖ قَدْ بَلَغْتَ مِن لَّدُنِّى عُذْرًا

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Moses said, ‘If I ask thee concerning anything after this, keep me not in thy company, for then thou shalt have got sufficient excuse from me.’

English - Five Volume Translation

Moses said, ‘If I ask thee concerning anything after this, keep me not in thy company, for then thou shalt have got sufficient excuse from me.’[2115]

Commentary:

This verse shows that the followers of Moses—the Jews—would repeatedly break their solemn agreements with the Holy Prophet till a complete rupture of mutual relations ensued.

English - Short Commentary Translation

Moses said, ‘If I ask thee concerning anything after this, keep me not in thy company, for then thou shalt have got sufficient excuse from me.’

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اس نے کہا اگر اس کے بعد میں تجھ سے کوئی سوال پوچھوں تو پھر مجھے اپنے ساتھ نہ رہنے دینا۔ یقیناً میری طرف سے تُو ہر جواز پاچکا ہے۔

French

Moïse dit : « Si après ceci je t’interroge sur quoi que ce soit, ne me retiens plus en ta compagnie, car alors tu auras toute licence de ma part. »

German

(Moses) sprach: "Wenn ich dich hernach noch über etwas befrage, so begleite mich nicht weiter; von mir aus wärest du dann zu entschuldigen."

Chinese

他 (穆撒) 说: “在这以后, 如果我再问你关于任何事物, 那么, 你就不要再允许我追随你。那时,你对于我业已仁至义尽了。”

Italian

Mosè disse: «Se ti chiederò ancora qualcosa, non tenermi più in tua compagnia, perché allora avrai scuse sufficienti per me.»

Spanish

Moisés dijo: “Si te pregunto sobre algo después de esto, no permitas que continúe en tu compañía, pues entonces habrás recibido suficientes excusas mías”.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اس (یعنی موسیٰ) نے کہا (کہ) اگر اس کے بعد میں نے کسی بات کے متعلق آپ سے پوچھا تو (بیشک) آپ مجھے اپنے ساتھ نہ رکھئیے گا (اور اس صورت میں) آپ یقیناً میری اپنی رائے کے مطابق [2]معذور سمجھے جانے کی حد تک پہنچ چکے ہوں گے۔

قرآن مجید میں مِنْ لَّدُنِّیْ ہے اور لَدُنْ کے معنے لغت میں عِنْدَ کے بھی ہیں۔ جس کے معنے نزدیک کے ہوتے ہیں یا یہ کہ ’’میرے خیال میں‘‘ یا ’’میرے فیصلہ کے مطابق‘‘ (اقرب اور مفردات) وہی معنے ہم نے کیے ہیں۔

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

موسیٰؑ نے کہا " اس کے بعد اگر میں آپ سے کچھ پوچھوں تو آپ مجھے ساتھ نہ رکھیں لیجیے، اب تو میری طرف سے آپ کو عذر مل گیا"

English - Sahih

[Moses] said, "If I should ask you about anything after this, then do not keep me as a companion. You have obtained from me an excuse."

کہا اگراس کے بعدمیں آپ سے کسی چیز کا سوال کروں تو مجھے ساتھ نہ رکھیں آپ میری طرف سے معذوری تک پہنچ جائیں گے
