تُسَبِّحُ لَهُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُ ٱلسَّبْعُ وَٱلْأَرْضُ وَمَن فِيهِنَّ ۚ وَإِن مِّن شَىْءٍ إِلَّا يُسَبِّحُ بِحَمْدِهِۦ وَلَٰكِن لَّا تَفْقَهُونَ تَسْبِيحَهُمْ ۗ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ حَلِيمًا غَفُورًا

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

The seven heavens and the earth and those that are therein extol His glory; and there is not a thing but glorifies Him with His praise; but you understand not their glorification. Verily, He is Forbearing, Most Forgiving.

Commentary:

The expression, the seven heavens and the earth and those that are therein extol His glory, refers to the collective evidence that the whole universe bears to the Unity of God, while the words, and there is not a thing but glorifies Him with His praise, refer to the evidence which everything bears to that Unity individually and separately. The former expression means that the beautiful arrangement and order existing in the universe shows unmistakably that its Creator is One and the latter means that everything in this universe, within its own limited sphere and in its own inimitable way, demonstrates God’s various attributes.

The seven heavens and the earth and those that are therein extol His glory; and there is not a thing but [a]glorifies Him with His praise;[1622] but you understand not their glorification. Verily, He is Forbearing, Most Forgiving.

Whereas the words, The seven heavens and the earth and those that are therein extol His glory, refer to the collective evidence that the whole universe bears to the Unity of God, the words, and there is not a thing but glorifies Him with His praise, refer to the evidence which all things bear to Oneness of the Divine Being individually and separately. The former means that the beautiful arrangement and order existing in the universe unmistakably show that its Creator is One, and the latter mean that everything in this universe, within its own limited sphere and in its own inimitable way, demonstrates God’s various attributes.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اُسی کی تسبیح کر رہے ہیں سات آسمان اور زمین اور جو بھی ان میں ہے۔ اور کوئی چیز نہیں مگر وہ اُس کی حمد کے ساتھ تسبیح کر رہی ہے لیکن حال یہ ہے کہ تم ان کی تسبیح کو سمجھتے نہیں۔ وہ یقیناً بہت بُردبار (اور) بہت بخشنے والا ہے۔

French

Les sept cieux et la terre et ceux qui s’y trouvent, célèbrent Sa gloire ; et il n’y a aucune chose qui ne Le glorifie par Ses louanges ; mais vous ne comprenez pas leur glorification. En vérité, Il est Indulgent, Très-Pardonnant.

German

Die sieben Himmel und die Erde und wer darinnen ist, sie lobpreisen Ihn; und es gibt kein Ding, das Seine Herrlichkeit nicht preist; ihr aber versteht ihre Lobpreisung nicht. Wahrlich, Er ist langmütig, allverzeihend.

七个天和地以及在其中的, [b]都褒扬他的圣洁; 没有一件东西不褒扬他的圣洁, 赞颂他的善美。[714]但你们不了解它们的赞美, 他确是容忍者, 极为宽恕者。

“七个天和地以及在其中的, 都褒扬 (他的) 圣洁,” 这句话指的是整个宇宙属于安拉的独一性这一总的明证, “没有一样东西不褒扬他的圣洁, 赞颂他的善美,” 这句话指的是所有事物是单独并分别地属于唯一的安拉的这一明证。前一总的明证意味着优美的安排和秩序正确地存在于宇宙之中表明创造者只是一个; 而后者意味着在宇宙中每一东西在其自己有限范围内以其自己的独有的方法显示安拉不同的常德。

Italian

I sette cieli e la terra e i loro abitanti esaltano la Sua gloria, e non v'è cosa che non Lo glorifichi proclamando le Sue lodi; solo che voi non comprendete la loro glorificazione. In verità Egli è Paziente, Indulgente.

Spanish

Los siete cielos, la tierra y los que en ella están, ensalzan Su gloria; y no hay ni una sola cosa que no Lo glorifique con Su alabanza; mas vosotros no comprendéis su glorificación. En verdad, Él es Tolerante, el Sumo Indulgente.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

ساتوں آسمان اور زمین اور جو ان میں (بسنے والے) ہیں اس کی تسبیح کرتے ہیں اور (دنیا کی) ہر چیز اس کی تعریف کرتی ہوئی (اس کی) تسبیح کرتی ہے لیکن تم ان (اشیائ) کی تسبیح کو نہیں سمجھتے۔ وہ یقیناً پردہ پوشی کرنے والا (اور) بہت (ہی) بخشنے والا ہے۔

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

اُس کی پاکی تو ساتوں آسمان اور زمین اور وہ ساری چیزیں بیان کر رہی ہیں جو آسمان و زمین میں ہیں کوئی چیز ایسی نہیں جو اس کی حمد کے ساتھ اس کی تسبیح نہ کر رہی ہو، مگر تم ان کی تسبیح سمجھتے نہیں ہو حقیقت یہ ہے کہ وہ بڑا ہی بردبار اور درگزر کرنے والا ہے

English - Sahih

The seven heavens and the earth and whatever is in them exalt Him. And there is not a thing except that it exalts [Allah] by His praise, but you do not understand their [way of] exalting. Indeed, He is ever Forbearing and Forgiving.

ساتوں آسمان اور زمین اور جو کوئی ان میں ہے اس کی پاکی بیان کرتے ہیں اور ایسی کوئی چیز نہیں جو ا سکی حمد کے ساتھ تسبیح نہ کرتی ہو لیکن تم ان کی تسبیح کو نہیں سمجھتے بے شک وہ بردبار بخشنے والا ہے

Glorify [to] Him the seven heavens and the earth and whatever (is) in them. And (there is) not any thing except glorifies His Praise, but not you understand their glorification. Indeed, He is Ever-Forbearing, Oft-Forgiving."

The seven heavens and the earth, and whosoever in them is, extol Him; nothing is, that does not proclaim His praise, but you do not understand their extolling. Surely He is All-clement, All-forgiving.

The seven heavens, the earth, and all that is within them give glory to Him. There is nothing but gives glory to Him with His praise, though you do not understand their hymns of praise. He is Most Forbearing, Exceedingly Forgiving."
