فَأَخَذْنَٰهُ وَجُنُودَهُۥ فَنَبَذْنَٰهُمْ فِى ٱلْيَمِّ ۖ فَٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

So We seized him and his hosts, and cast them into the sea. See, then, how evil was the end of the wrongdoers!

Commentary:

The use of the word یم (sea) in this verse and v. 8 above seems to suggest a curious coincidence. In order to save the child Moses from being killed by Pharaoh, Moses’ mother cast him into the یم from which he was later rescued. But Pharaoh and his mighty hosts while endeavouring to cross the یم in order to overtake the Israelites, were drowned. See also 20:79.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

پس ہم نے اسے اور اس کے لشکروں کو گرفت میں لے لیا اور انہیں سمندر میں پھینک دیا۔ پس دیکھ کہ ظالموں کا کیسا انجام ہوا۔

Alors, Nous le saisîmes, ainsi que ses armées, et Nous les jetâmes dans les flots. Vois donc combien mauvaise fut la fin des injustes !

So erfassten Wir ihn und seine Heerscharen und setzten sie aus inmitten des Meeres. Schau darum, wie der Ausgang der Missetäter war!

Così Noi lo afferrammo, lui e le sue schiere, e li gettammo nel mare. Vedi dunque quanto cattiva fu la fine dei malvagi!

Así pues, los atrapamos a él y a sus huestes, lanzándolos al mar. ¡Ved, pues, qué desgraciado fue el fin de los inicuos!

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

پس ہم نے اس کو بھی اور اس کے لشکروں کو بھی پکڑ لیا اور ان کو سمندر[2] میں پھینک دیا۔ پس دیکھ کہ ظالموں کا انجام کیسا ہوا؟

یَمّ کے معنے عام طور پر لوگ دریا کے کرتے ہیں۔ مگر تاریخوں سے پتہ لگتا ہے کہ موسیٰ علیہ السلام اور فرعون بحیرہ احمر جہاں وادیٔ سینا سے ملتا ہے وہاں سے گذرے تھے۔ پس ہم نے یَمّ کے معنے سمندر کے کیے ہیں اور لغت میں بھی اس کے معنے سمندر کے لکھے ہیں۔ (دیکھئے اقرب)

آخر کار ہم نے اسے اور اس کے لشکروں کو پکڑا اور سمندر میں پھینک دیا اب دیکھ لو کہ ان ظالموں کا کیسا انجام ہوا

English - Sahih

So We took him and his soldiers and threw them into the sea. So see how was the end of the wrongdoers.

پھر ہم نے اسے اور اس کے لشکروں کو پکڑ لیا پھر انہیں دریا میں پھینک دیا سو دیکھ لو ظالموں کا کیا انجام ہوا
