اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

وہ کہیں گے اللہ ہی کے ہیں۔ کہہ کیا پھر تم تقویٰ اختیار نہیں کرو گے؟

Ils diront : « Ils appartiennent à Allāh. » Dis : « Ne vivrez-vous donc pas avec crainte ? »

German

Sie werden sprechen: "(Sie sind) Allahs." Sprich: "Wollt ihr denn nicht (Ihn) zum Beschützer nehmen?"

他们 (将回答) 说: “(它们) 都是安拉的。” 你说: “那你们为什么还不努力把他当作自己的保护者?”

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

وہ فوراً کہیں گے (یہ سب) اللہ کے ہیں۔ تو کہہ دے کیا پھر تم (اس خدا کے ذریعہ سے تباہی سے) بچنے کی کوشش نہیں کرتے؟

یہ ضرور کہیں گے اللہ کہو، پھر تم ڈرتے کیوں نہیں؟

They will say, "[They belong] to Allah." Say, "Then will you not fear Him?"

Important Words:

تتقون (take as your protector) is from اتقی which means, he became God-fearing. اتقی فلاناً means, he feared such a one and was on his guard against him and avoided him. They say اتقینا به i.e. while facing an enemy we placed him in front of us shielding or protecting ourselves by him (Aqrab). See also 2:3.
